Here I go again, Up to Cape Cod, MA to spend time at the regional Northeastern Santa Workshop. It will be in my uncle's town of South Yarmouth, MA - how could I pass that opportunity? For the first time, in Gatlinburg, TN, I attended ClausFest, an international gathering of Santas. Here, they attended workshops on honing their craft of being the best representative to the North Pole. What an experience to be among such wonderful people. I will be back. They embraced The Christmas Pumpkin and bought it for their storytimes this coming holiday season and for their own family members and friends.

This Santa was kind enough to read The Christmas Pumpkin to me - practicing for his storytimes this coming holiday season.  Jim Yellig Santa Claus Workshops in Santa CLaus, Indiana - the Santa community is wonderful and welcoming.

During the Jim Yellig Santa Workshop in Santa Claus Indiana I had the opportunity to discuss and share The Christmas Pumpkin with over 600 Santas nationwide.  What an experience.

This year, we designed a counter top display box that will fit 12 books. We are running a special with a minimum order of 12 books, the display box and shipping - $54.00  This is a show special that will run during months when BeeBop Books is presenting at a Gift Show.  Currently, this special is running through the end of April. It will not run again until July. Get your orders in before April 30th. This shipping deal won't last long! That's 12 books in their own advertising box to set near your register or on any shelf in your gift shop.

This year started off with the Dallas Finds Holiday Gift Market in Dallas, TX, during January. I spoke to a lot of interested businesses and made a lot of new connections. Sales spread to TN, AR, MO, and VA. Next, the Corn Party in Sacramento, CA. Again, a fantastic experience where I met people from all over the 50 states and even Canada. The Christmas Pumpkin fits in well in gift shops at corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and Christmas tree farms. Sales spread to locations in Canada, NY, LA, as well as more locations in VA, TX, and TN. March and April will put us in Gatlinburg, TN and Santa Claus, IN at  festivals and conventions of Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their helpers. How exciting! 

What a fantastic event. I met so many kind and entertaining corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and Christmas tree farm owners and operators. BeeBop Books is proud to be a part of what some are considering a fresh and exciting wave of "agritourism/agritainment."  Keep on letting your lights shine!

All my Bawlmer friends - Guess what - I just met Miss Hon herself, Denise Whiting! I am in awe. She bought books to carry in her Hon Cafe. We are planning a book signng in November...Hon. :)
